HOW WE GET RID OF BEES

LOCAL PEST CONTROLLERS ARE IN YOUR AREA DEALING WITH ISSUES NOW!

MAIN FEATURES OF OUR BEE RIDDANCE PROGRAM

FINDING AND BLOCKING INGRESS POINTS

We use long lasting professional preparations to identify and seal up openings that bees are using to get in and out of your living space. Careful consideration is taken to ensure that this is done effectively throughout the treatment.

USING PROFESSIONAL GRADE POISONS

Professional grade insecticides are at least TWICE as potent. But are only used as a last resort. As Bees are very important to the ecosystem we use methods to keep them and us safe and also provide relocation services. A site inspection will determine the best course of action.

INSPECTING AND MONITORING THOROUGHLY

Inspecting and monitoring the premises is very important as we zone in on activity. Monitoring the activity of bees in your property and ensuring the treatments stay effective means your problem is solved quicker.

BEE CONTROL F.A.Q'S

Q: BEST CONTROL METHOD?

In most cases, the pest controller will look at making the area safe and stopping bees from causing harm via stings. This would be from blocking ingress points and/or relocation of a nest.

Q: FIRST SIGNS OF ACTIVITY?

It's normal to see the odd bee entering your property during the summer months, but larger swarms indicate a nest somewhere nearby.

Q: COST TO GET PEST CONTROL?

Normally removing a bee nest nest will incur a one-off fee. However this depends on the location, accessibility and amount of activity in the area.

Q: HOW LONG DO THEY LIVE?

Adult honey bees can live between 1 to 2 months. If you are accounting the time that it takes for a wasp egg to develop into an adult, it can take around 3 weeks.

Q: HOW QUICKLY DO THEY BREED?

A queen honey bee can lay around 2000 eggs per day. In total it takes approximately 21 days from egg to adult, although the length of time spent in each stage is determined by environmental factors.

Q: HOW TO PREVENT THEM?

Like any pest, bees will stay as close to a food source as possible. Avoid leaving food outside or on worktops. Ensure your food is stored in sealed containers or cupboards and keep your surfaces clean; especially outside.
