HOW WE GET RID OF WASPS

LOCAL PEST CONTROLLERS ARE IN YOUR AREA DEALING WITH ISSUES NOW!

MAIN FEATURES OF OUR WASP RIDDANCE PROGRAM

FINDING AND BLOCKING INGRESS POINTS

We use long lasting professional preparations to identify and seal up openings that wasps are using to get in and out of your living space. Careful consideration is taken to ensure that this is done effectively throughout the treatment.

USING PROFESSIONAL GRADE POISONS

Professional grade insecticides are at least TWICE as potent. These are different to consumer grade variants. When used effectively they provide an effective treatment against wasp activity.

INSPECTING AND MONITORING THOROUGHLY

Inspecting and monitoring the premises is very important as we zone in on activity. Monitoring the consumption of insecticides and ensuring the treatments stay effective means your problem is solved quicker.

WASP CONTROL F.A.Q'S

Q: BEST CONTROL METHOD?

In most cases, the pest controller applies an insecticide near the nest entrance. The wasps will bring the chemical inside, which will kill them after a couple of days.

Q: FIRST SIGNS OF ACTIVITY?

It's normal to see the odd wasp entering your property during the summer months, but larger swarms indicate a nest somewhere nearby.

Q: COST TO GET PEST CONTROL?

Normally removing a wasp nest will incur a one-off fee. However this depends on the location, accessibility and amount of activity in the area.

Q: HOW LONG DO THEY LIVE?

Adult worker wasps can live between 12 – 22 days while the queen will survive for the entire year until the cold causes the colony to die off. If you are accounting the time that it takes for a wasp egg to develop into an adult, it can take between 40 - 60 days depending on external environmental factors.

Q: HOW QUICKLY DO THEY BREED?

A queen wasp will lay around 100 eggs per day. In total it takes approximately 28-48 days from egg to adult, although the length of time spent in each stage is determined by environmental factors.

Q: HOW TO PREVENT THEM?

Like any pest, wasps will stay as close to a food source as possible. Avoid leaving food outside or on worktops. Ensure your food is stored in sealed containers or cupboards and keep your surfaces clean; especially outside.
